This reference maps each planet’s transit through each of the twelve houses. When a planet is transiting a particular house in your chart, these are the themes, expressions, and practices that apply.
Sun Transits Through the Houses
The Sun transits through each house for approximately one month each year, spending twelve months moving around your full chart. Where the Sun is at any given time is where your vitality, focus, and self-expression are most activated.
1st House — Self & Identity
You are in your solar return season. Energy is focused on you — your presence, your body, your appearance, how you move through the world. This is a month for self-definition, fresh starts, and visible confidence.
2nd House — Money & Self-Worth
Focus shifts to values, resources, and self-worth. What do you actually value? What feels worth your energy? This month brings attention to how you earn, what you own, and how you measure your own worth.
3rd House — Communication & Learning
The mind activates. You may find yourself writing more, reading more, having important conversations. Short trips, errands, and local connections dominate. Learning something new lands well during this month.
4th House — Home & Roots
Attention turns inward and toward home. You may feel more private, more introspective, more pulled toward family or ancestry. This is a good month for nesting, organizing your space, or returning to emotional roots.
5th House — Creativity & Romance
Joy is the focus. Creativity, play, romance, children, and pleasure are highlighted. You are meant to shine. This is the month to express yourself publicly, date, make art, or do whatever makes you feel most alive.
6th House — Work & Health
Routine, work, and wellness take center stage. You may feel more disciplined, more focused on details, more committed to your daily rhythms. A good month to reset habits, restructure schedules, or take health seriously.
7th House — Partnerships
Relationships become the focus. Your attention shifts from self to other — romantic partners, business partners, close friendships. You see yourself more clearly through the mirror of relationship.
8th House — Intimacy & Transformation
Depth rises. You may feel pulled toward the hidden, the private, the transformative. Shared resources, intimacy, psychological material all come up. A month for inner work, release, and honest reckoning.
9th House — Expansion & Belief
Vision expands. You want to learn more, travel farther, believe bigger. Philosophy, education, publishing, and higher purpose come alive. A good month to take a class, plan a trip, or rewrite what you stand for.
10th House — Career & Visibility
Public life activates. You are more visible, more seen, more held accountable. Career matters come forward. Reputation and public identity are being tested or celebrated. A month for stepping up.
11th House — Friendships & Future
The collective calls. Friends, networks, communities, and future vision move to the foreground. You may feel your circle shifting or expanding. A month to think about where you’re headed, not just where you are.
12th House — Completion & Solitude
The year closes. Energy goes inward and underground. You may feel tired, reflective, or withdrawn. This is not the time to push — it is the time to rest, release, and prepare for your upcoming solar return. The month before your birthday is a spiritual exhale.
Moon Transits Through the Houses
The Moon moves faster than any other body in astrology, spending approximately 2–3 days in each house and completing a full cycle through all twelve houses roughly every 28–29 days. Because of this speed, Moon transits don’t signal long-term shifts — they reveal your emotional weather in real time. Uranus Transits Through the Houses
Uranus spends approximately 7 years in each house, taking 84 years to complete a full cycle through your chart — meaning most people only experience each Uranus transit through a house once in a lifetime. This is a generational-scale transit. Wherever Uranus is moving through is where your life is being systematically disrupted and liberated, usually in ways you didn’t plan and couldn’t fully predict. The changes Uranus brings are rarely subtle and rarely reversible. Think of it less as something happening to you and more as the part of your life that is finally being allowed to evolve.

Neptune Transits Through the Houses
Neptune spends approximately 13–14 years in each house, taking about 165 years to complete a full cycle — so Neptune’s transit through any single house is a multi-decade chapter of your life, not a season. Wherever Neptune is moving through is where reality softens, boundaries dissolve, and spiritual or creative sensitivity deepens. This is not a transit you notice in a single month; it’s a gradual transformation of how you perceive and relate to that entire area of life. They spend approximately 18–19 months in each axis before shifting, completing a full cycle in about 18–19 years. This is why the Nodal Return at age 18–19 (and again at 36–38, 54–57) feels like a destiny checkpoint. The North Node marks where you are growing toward — it is unfamiliar and sometimes uncomfortable. The South Node marks where you are releasing or over-relying — it is familiar, often too familiar. Outer Planet Aspects: The Forces That Change You
The outer planets do not describe your personality. They describe the moments that reshape it.
When these planets form aspects to your personal planets or angles, they don’t ask. They interrupt, pressure, dissolve, expose, or awaken.
These are not subtle influences. These are turning points.
Neptune Aspects
Perception. Surrender. Illusion. Intuition.
Neptune aspects blur the edges of reality so something deeper can be felt. They heighten sensitivity, imagination, and spiritual awareness, but can also distort clarity, boundaries, and truth.
When active, Neptune asks you to trust what you feel without getting lost in what isn’t real.
Soft aspects (trine, sextile): natural intuition, creativity, emotional depth, spiritual openness
Hard aspects (square, opposition, conjunction): confusion, projection, escapism, disillusionment, but also profound awakening
Neptune does not give direct answers. It dissolves what you thought was certain so you can perceive what actually is.
Saturn Aspects
Pressure. Reality. Structure. Mastery.
Saturn aspects are points of friction that force growth. They reveal where discipline is required and where avoidance is no longer an option.
When Saturn is involved, life becomes undeniable. What you build holds. What you avoid collapses.
Soft aspects: stability, long-term success, emotional maturity, grounded decision-making
Hard aspects: restriction, delays, fear, responsibility, karmic tests
Saturn doesn’t block you. It makes sure you’re strong enough to sustain what you’re asking for.
Uranus Aspects
Disruption. Awakening. Change. Liberation.
Uranus aspects break patterns. They bring sudden shifts that redirect your path, often before you consciously choose it.
When Uranus hits, something ends, changes, or accelerates. Not because it’s falling apart, but because it’s outgrown.
Soft aspects: innovation, independence, originality, rapid insight
Hard aspects: instability, sudden endings, rebellion, unpredictability
Uranus does not ask for permission. It removes what is no longer aligned with who you are becoming.
Pluto Aspects
Power. Transformation. Death and Rebirth.
Pluto aspects go to the root. They expose what is hidden, unconscious, or suppressed, and bring it to the surface for transformation.
These are the experiences that change you permanently.
Soft aspects: inner strength, emotional depth, magnetic presence, regenerative power
Hard aspects: power struggles, obsession, loss, control dynamics, identity death
Pluto does not negotiate. It transforms through truth, whether you’re ready or not.
Chiron Aspects
Wound. Awareness. Integration. Healing Intelligence.
Chiron aspects point to a core wound that shapes how you experience yourself and others. This is not surface pain. It is precise, personal, and recurring until understood.
When activated, Chiron shows you exactly where healing is required.
Soft aspects: wisdom through experience, emotional intelligence, ability to guide others
Hard aspects: sensitivity, insecurity, repeating pain patterns, vulnerability exposure
Chiron is not here to be fixed. It is here to be understood, integrated, and eventually used.
How to Read Your Aspects
Look at:
Which planet is being aspected. Which outer planet is involved. Whether the aspect is soft or hard.
Then ask: What is being triggered — and what is it trying to change in me?
Because outer planet aspects are not random. They mark the exact places in your life where evolution becomes unavoidable.
↑ Back to topNeptune Aspects — Deep Dive
Neptune aspects show where illusion meets reality.
These aspects can feel like inspiration, confusion, projection, spiritual connection, or lack of clarity.
The goal is not to remove Neptune. The goal is to see clearly while still feeling deeply.
Neptune Conjunct Personal Planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars)
Neptune merges with the planet, amplifying sensitivity and dissolving boundaries.
You may feel deeply connected, creative, or intuitive. You may also struggle with identity, direction, or clarity in that area.
Lesson: Stay grounded in reality while honoring your depth.
Neptune Square Personal Planets
This creates tension between clarity and illusion.
You may experience confusion, mixed signals, or cycles of disillusionment. There can be a pattern of seeing what you want to see.
Lesson: Learn discernment through experience, not avoidance.
Neptune Opposition Personal Planets
Projection is strong here.
You may see your own desires, fears, or ideals reflected through others. Relationships can feel karmic, magnetic, or confusing.
Lesson: Take your projections back. See what is yours.
Neptune Trine Personal Planets
This is a natural flow of intuition and creativity.
You may have strong artistic, spiritual, or emotional gifts. Things feel easier here, but can still lack grounding if unchecked.
Lesson: Use your gifts intentionally, not passively.
Neptune Sextile Personal Planets
Opportunities for spiritual growth and creativity.
This aspect supports imagination and emotional intelligence, but requires activation.
Lesson: Engage your sensitivity instead of ignoring it.
Neptune and Saturn Aspects
This is the balance between dreams and reality.
Saturn tries to structure what Neptune dissolves. This can feel like building something meaningful out of something intangible.
Lesson: Give your dreams structure without killing them.
Neptune and Pluto Aspects
Deep transformation through surrender.
These aspects can bring intense psychological or spiritual experiences. There is potential for profound healing or deep illusion.
Lesson: Face truth, even when it dissolves what you thought was real.
Neptune and Uranus Aspects
Awakening through intuition.
These aspects can bring sudden insight, spiritual awakening, or unconventional perception.
Lesson: Stay grounded while expanding your awareness.
Neptune does not ask you to be perfect. It asks you to be aware.
↑ Back to topAsteroid Transits Through the Houses
Beyond the traditional planets, a set of asteroids adds depth and nuance to any chart reading. These eight carry themes the classical planets don’t cover: Ceres (nurture), Pallas (wisdom), Juno (commitment), Vesta (devotion), Psyche (soul), Eris (disruption), Hekate (threshold), and Sedna (depth). Learning their transits expands your vocabulary for what is actually moving through your life.
Ceres Transits Through the Houses
Ceres spends approximately 3–4 months in each house, completing a full cycle through the chart in about 4.6 years. As the largest asteroid in the belt and now classified as a dwarf planet, Ceres moves with enough speed to act like an inner planet transit — you feel it seasonally rather than as a long-term background shift. Wherever Ceres is transiting, questions of nourishment, nurturing, and care come forward: how you are fed (physically and emotionally), how you feed others, and where the cycle of give-and-receive is in or out of balance.

However, the house Eris occupies in your chart (and in any given year’s sky) marks where disruption, radical truth, and the dismantling of false harmony are ongoing undercurrents. Sedna Transits Through the Houses
Sedna is among the most distant and slowest moving bodies we work with in modern astrology, spending approximately 700–1000 years completing a full orbit. Like Eris, Sedna’s movement through any individual house spans multiple lifetimes. For personal astrology, Sedna functions less as a transit and more as a generational and collective marker — a fixed point in the sky that speaks to deep collective wounds, ancestral survival patterns, and the spiritual evolution of humanity over vast timescales. When Sedna is activated by faster transits or appears prominently in your natal chart, it points to where the oldest, most deeply buried pain lives — and where the most profound healing is possible. This is not surface-level work. Sedna asks for patience measured in lifetimes.

How to Use It
When a planet transits a house, check both the life area (psychological stress themes) and the body area (somatic manifestations). For example, Saturn transiting your 6th House might bring digestive stress, but also demand disciplined routines for healing.

[Visual V4: Zodiac Body Wheel — design spec to be inserted]
Here’s the classic medical astrology wheel — each sign governs a body region, starting from head (Aries) down to the feet (Pisces).
Aries: Head, face, brain, eyes.
Taurus: Throat, neck, thyroid, vocal cords.
Gemini: Arms, hands, lungs, nervous system.
Cancer: Chest, breasts, stomach, womb.
Leo: Heart, spine, upper back, circulation.
Virgo: Digestive system, intestines, pancreas.
Libra: Kidneys, skin, lower back.
Scorpio: Reproductive organs, bladder, elimination.
Sagittarius: Hips, thighs, liver, sciatic nerves.
Capricorn: Bones, joints, knees, teeth, skin.
Aquarius: Ankles, calves, circulation, nervous system.
Pisces: Feet, lymphatic system, immune system.
How to Use It
Look at where transits hit your chart, then note the body area ruled by that sign. Combine with planetary correspondences — for example, Mars transiting Virgo might show as digestive inflammation or signal the need for gut-healing routines. Pair with embodiment practices: Aries headaches respond to peppermint oil massage, Virgo digestion to chamomile tea ritual, Pisces feet to foot baths with salt and rose petals.
This creates a trinity for readers: Planets (body systems and functions), Signs (body parts and zones), Houses (life areas and stress channels).
